Where first impressions really count

Exhibition Presence

Trade shows can be an important event for many businesses, an opportunity to meet potential customers face-to-face, increase brand awareness in target markets and generate quality sales leads.

However, I know that for some small businesses it is difficult to ensure a good return on Investment because they have no access to a marketing resource that can ensure the event is effective and successful.

There are many pre and post marketing opportunities that can be implemented to build upon the success of the event itself.

  • Mailshot pre and post attendance lists - to tell your existing and potential customers you are going to be there
  • Tell your customers via your website - add an incentive to come and do business with you
  • Be part of a virtual exhibition - many exhibitions provide a virtual stand enabling online visitors able to get brochures or show interest
  • Promotional give-aways - to attract visitors to your stand and increase brand awareness
  • Use competitions to attract visitors to drop in their business cards

All of these marketing activities can take up a lot of time and resource particularly if it hasn't been done before. There is a lot of organising to be done from stand design; to booking equipment, lighting and Internet connections.

I can act as your marketing assistant sorting out all aspects of organising an event, and if you have never attended one before I can provide ideas on how you can ensure it will be a success.
